Trisha Koetter has been training and showing dogs competitively for over 20 years. She has earned multiple titles on multiple dogs in obedience, agility and tracking. In 2002,Trisha and her Bernese Mountain Dog “Stormy” made history by becoming the first ever Bernese mountain Dog to earn the coveted title of AKC Obedience Trial Champion (OTCH).
Some other notable accomplishments with “Stormy” include 5 All-Breed High in Trial’s, 4 All-Breed High Combined’s, 4 time BMDCA Top Open B winner, 2 time BMDCA Top Utility B winner, BMDCA Top Utility A winner, 2001 GLTC Superdog winner. Trisha next competed in agility with “Roxy”, a Havanese. Roxy earned her MACH (Master Agility Champion) title in 2008 (Novice to MACH in 18 months) and retired with MACH 8. She finished 3rd overall for Havanese in AKC Agility in 2008 & 2009, and 2nd in 2010. Trisha and Roxy have competed at the Eukanuba Invitational 5 years and were finalists in ’09, ’10, & ’12 finishing 3rd in the 8” division in ’09. Roxy was the 8" Jrs Agility Champion running with Chase in 2012. Roxy finished 18th in the 8" division at AKC Nationals in 2011. Roxy was a Finalist at the 2016 Westminster Masters Agility Championships in NY which aired on Fox Sports and Nat Geo Wild. Trisha currently competes with MACH2 Fury a 9 year old Border collie. Fury finished 27/359 in 2017 at AKC Nationals. Her newest puppy is Border collie Proof. Trisha is a graduate of Indiana University with a BS in Business Marketing and a Minor in Psychology.
Katie has been training dogs with Flying Feet Agility since 2008. Before getting into dog training, she was competitively showing horses and still does. In 2008, she and her horse Biscuit were first in the nation for PHBA in both Novice trail and Novice horsemanship. With her dog, Blackberry, she has earned titles in AKC & UKC Rally obedience and AKC agility. Katie is a graduate from Indiana University Southeast with a Bachelor of Science in nursing.
Chase has been competitively showing dogs for 5 years. She has been teaching agility and obedience at Flying Feet for 6 years and conformation for 1 year. Chase has shown many different breeds but mainly focuses on her Papillon, Tinkerbelle. Tink is a Champion in the breed ring and is currently counting points for her Grand Championship and MACH titles.Chase has competed at the Eukanuba National Championships for three years now; the first year in agility and the second two in conformation and Junior Showmanship. She will be competing at Westminster for the first time in February, 2011. She and Trisha Koetter, her mother, finished a MACH on Trisha’s Havanese together in 2007-2008. Chase is currently a student at Our Lady of Providence Jr/Sr High School.
