Hi, I’m Chase!

I grew up surrounded by the world of dog training and showing with my mom, Trisha Koetter, leading the way.

I’ve been an instructor at Flying Feet for over ten years and have been showing dogs for even longer. My first dog was a Papillon named Tinkerbelle – BGCH MACH PACH Flashpoint’s Tickle Me Tink. Tink and I were an incredible team inside the ring and out.

Some of our accomplishments include:

  • AKC Regional Champions // 2012

  • Junior Agility Invitational Champions // 2012

  • #1 Toy & #2 All Breed Junior Handler team in the nation // 2013

We competed in Junior Showmanship at Westminster for 4 consecutive years and the Eukanuba Invitational for 5 consecutive years. Tink really painted the way for my future with dogs. She was my first Champion and Grand Champion in the conformation ring and first Preferred and Master Agility Champion in the agility ring.

Tink was my one in a million and will forever be loved and cherished.

I now have four-year-old Border Collie, Diggity – Hob Nob Dig From Within. Diggity excels in all things he does including agility, obedience, and barn hunt. He is a gorgeous and brilliant boy and has only scratched the surface of what his very bright future holds for him. Both dogs achieved their Advanced Trick titles in one day and Diggity was less than a year old when he received his. We cannot wait to see what Dig will achieve over his lifetime!

Outside of the dog world I am a graduate of Providence High School and Indiana University Southeast with a bachelor’s degree in biology. I will graduate from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry with my DMD degree in 2021 with hopes of incorporating therapy dogs into my dental practice.
